TTO provides guidance to all faculty, researchers, students about the potential protection available to the disclosure (patent, copyright or trademark) which they create during the course of their employment and the performance of activities while at Okan University. TTO assists them while protecting their IP assests, managing IP portfolios and bringing the IP to the marketplace.
Together with its stakeholders and industrial partners,
• TTO helps inventors on preparing patent application packages, applying for patents, and filing patent applications.
• While the cost of acquiring and maintaining patent protection may be significant, TTO informs them accessing governmental incentives and support programs for patent application.
